Lepton flavor-changing processes in R-parity violating MSSM: Z ---> l(i) anti-l(j) and gamma gamma ---> l(i) anti-l(j) under new bounds from l(i) ---> l(j) gamma

Subjects:

We examine the lepton flavor-changing processes in R -parity violating MSSM. First, we update the constraints on the relevant R -violating couplings by using the latest data on the rare decays ? i → ? j γ . We find that the updated constraints are much st

Heavy colored SUSY partners from deflected anomaly mediation

Wang,F; Wang,W; Yang,JM; Zhang,Y
Subjects:

We propose a deflected anomaly mediation scenario from SUSY QCD which can lead to both positive and negative deflection parameters (there is a smooth transition between these two deflection parameter regions by adjusting certain couplings). Such a scenario can naturally give a SUSY spectrum in which all the colored sparticles are heavy while the sleptons are light. As a result, the discrepancy between the Brookheaven gμ ? 2 experiment and LHC data can be reconciled in this scenario. We also find that the parameter space for explaining the gμ ? 2 anomaly at 1σ level can be fully covered by the future LUX-ZEPLIN 7.2 Ton experiment.

Explanation of the ATLAS Z-peaked excess by squark pair production in the NMSSM

Subjects:

The ATLAS collaboration recently reported a 3σ excess in the leptonic-Z + jets + EmissTTmiss_{T}^{miss} channel. We intend to interpret this excess by squark pair production in the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM). The decay chain we

Top squark mixing effects in the supersymmetric electroweak corrections to top quark production at the Tevatron

Yang,JM; Li,CS
Subjects:

Taking into account the mixing effects between left- and right-handed top-squarks, we calculate the genuine supersymmetric eletroweak correction to top quark pro- duction at the Tevatron in the minimal supersymmetric model. The analytic ex- pressions of the corrections to both the parton level cross section and the total hadronic cross section are presented. Some numerical examples are also given to show the size of the corrections.

Strong supersymmetric quantum effects on top quark production at the Fermilab Tevatron

Subjects:

The supersymmetric QCD corrections to top quark pair production by qq ? anni- hilation in pp ? collisions are calculated in the minimal supersymmetric model. We consider effects of the mixing of the scalar top quarks on the corrections to the total tt ?production cross section at the Fermilab Tevatron. We found that such correction is less sensitive to squark mass and gluino mass than in no-mixing case, and in both cases the corrections can exceed 10% even if we consider the recent CDF limit on squark and gluino masses.

Searching for a stop pair sample from top counting experiments at hadron colliders

Yang,JM; Young,B
Subjects:

The light stop if produced in hadron colliders in the form of t ? t ? ? pair and decaying through the likely decay chain t ? →χ ?+bfollowedbyχ ?+ →χ ?0ff ?′,can mimic closely a 1 top quark event when the mass of the stop is close to that of the top quark. Because of the much lower production rate, the stop event can be buried under the top quark event sample. In order to uncover the stop event, specific selection cuts need to be applied. Through Monte Carlo simulation with suitable kinematic cuts, we found that such stop event can be extracted from the top quark sample and detected by the top counting experiments in the upcoming upgraded Tevatron and LHC. However, because of the small statistics of the Run 1 of the Tevatron, the stop signal remains hidden at Run 1.
