摘要: In this paper, Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy control is proposed for stabilizing the output beam of accelerators. To model the nonlinear system, we proposed a hybrid optimization algorithm based on quantum-inspired differential evolution and genetic algorithm. Based on the T-S model identified, the corresponding state-feedback fuzzy controller is designed. The method is applied to the LaB6 electron gun system in the industrial radiation accelerator and the simulation results show its effectiveness.

摘要: The multi-bunch injection adopted at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) increases the injection rate greatly, with much less injection time than that of single bunch injection. It reduces massively the beam failure time during users operation and prolongs the pulsed injection hardware lifetime. In this paper, the scheme to produce multi bunches for the RF electron gun is described. The filling result and beam orbit stability for top up operation is discussed.

摘要: Conditioning an accelerating structure is important, and its performance is limited by breakdown and vacuum degradation, hence the necessity of finding problem in the conditioning. In order to save time, a judging process built in the firmware layer is applied in this paper. The system using the embedded algorithm in the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) locates the position of breakdown and displays the result in the user interface. Also, the system has the functions of automatic conditioning and interlock protection, which are useful during the conditioning process of an S-band accelerating structure.

摘要: In building Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF), in order to reduce or eliminate the unnecessary sources of beam motion, the precise and stable beam position measurement system in the feedback system was required. In this study, we focused on theoretical analysis of the electrode of beam position monitor (BPM). Simulations, including analytic derivations of the propagation impedance and the distribution inductance, were performed. The BPM was designed based on the results and the acceptance measurements of the impedance and the inductance by using the time domain reflection (TDR) with a network analyzer. It has been proved in years of operations that the BPM system meets the requirement of the resolution of sub-micron.

摘要: Photoneutrons, emitted by means of photonuclear interactions when gas bremsstrahlung interacts with beamline components, can be another potential radiation source needed to be considered for shielding design and dose assessment of beamline. In this paper, simulations and measurements of photoneutrons dose rate at beamline BL09U are carried out when Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) running at Top-up mode (3.5 GeV, 235 mA). A geometry model is constructed for the beamline BL09U with considerations of the scattering process of the major optical components. The model is compiled into Monte Carlo simulation code FLUKA to calculate photoneutron dose distribution. Measurements of the photoneutrons dose rate were performed by using Environmental Neutron Monitor (ENM). Observation points were arranged uniformly along the inside and outside of the optical enclosure (OE) of BL09U. The calculation results agree with experiments within the measurements uncertainties. It is verified that photoneutrons dose simulation is reliable. The simulation and measurement methods can be applied to evaluate the neutron dose level of other beamline stations, and provide references for the shielding design of the beamlines at SSRF in the near future.

摘要: Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) will implement its Phase II beamline project in the near future. Two long straight sections of the SSRF storage ring will be installed with dual-canted insertion devices in this project. Double-mini-y optics in the long straight sections is designed and optimized in order to obtain high brightness and good machine performance. In this paper, the results are summarized. The Phase II project proposes a lattice upgrade of super-bend, and the double-mini-y optics with this upgraded lattice is presented, too.

摘要: In the near future, the Phase-II beamline project of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) will be implemented and some dipoles in the storage ring will be replaced by high field dipoles (super-bend), so as to leave room for short straight sections. In this way, the brightness of the hard x-ray emitted from the super-bends can be enhanced, and more insertion devices can be installed. In this paper, super-bends of two lengths are discussed and the corresponding lattices are presented.

摘要: Coherent light with orbital angular momentum (OAM) is of great interest. Recently, OAM light generation by coupling a relativistic electron beam with a Gaussian mode laser pulse at the high harmonics of a helical undulator has been demonstrated experimentally. In this paper, the possibility of delivering coherent OAM light at the 3rd harmonic of the Gaussian mode seed laser is discussed for the Shanghai deep ultraviolet free-electron laser (SDUV-FEL). Considerations are given on the experiment setup, the expected performance and the possible measurement method.

摘要: This paper presents a novel approach to seek the bar width for ripple filter used in pencil beam scanning proton therapy. A weight decay quadratic programming method is employed for the new optimization strategy. Compared to the commonly used iterative-least-square technique, the ripple filter derived by the proposed method not only has better depth dose uniformity, i.e., the dose uniformity is within 0.5%, but also has triangle-like vertical cross-sectional shape which is suitable for manufacture. Moreover, the new method has such good robust characteristics that it is also applicable to the real application with unavoidable measurement errors and noises. The simulation results of this study may be helpful in improving the design of the ripple filter.

摘要: A proton therapy system is a large medical device to treat tumors. Its gantry is of large structure and high precision. A new half-gantry was designed in the Shanghai Advanced Proton Therapy (SAPT) project. In this paper, the weight of gantry in design is reduced significantly by size and structure optimizations, to improve its cost-effectiveness, while guaranteeing the functions and precision. The processes of physics optimization, empirical design optimization, topological optimization and size optimization, together with factors of consideration, are described. The gantry weight is reduced by 30%, with the same precision.

摘要: The rapid development of nuclear technology has led to more liquid organic radioactive wastes. Different from the regular aqueous radioactive wastes, these liquids possess a higher hazard potential and cannot be disposed through the conventional methods due to their radioactivity and chemical nature. Spent extraction solvent is a kind of common liquid organic radioactive wastes. In this work, tri-butyl phosphate (TBP), which is more difficult to degrade in the spent extraction solvent, was used as the model compound. Influences of reaction conditions on total organic carbon (TOC) removal and the volume percentage of each gas component under supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) were studied. The SCWO behaviors of spent extraction solvent simulants were studied under the optimal conditions derived from the TBP experiment. The SCWO experiments were studied at 400550 ℃, oxidant stoichiometric ratio of 0200%, feed concentration of 1.5%4% and pressure of 25 MPa for 1575 s. The results show that the TOC removal of the simulants was greater than 99.7% and CH4, H2 and CO were not detected at 550 ℃, 25 MPa, oxidant stoichiometric ratio of 150%, feed concentration of 3%, and residence time of 30 s.

摘要: 研究了在 700 ◦C 高温下暴露的 UNS N10003 合金激光焊缝的微观组织和拉伸断裂机制的演变。暴露 100 小时后,熔合区中初生共晶 M6C-γ 碳化物周围析出了细小的 M6C 碳化物。在长期热暴露过程中,细小的 M6C 碳化物的尺寸增大。当暴露时间延长至 10 000 小时时,焊态熔合区中的共晶 M6C-γ 碳化物转变为球形 M6C 碳化物。此外,随着暴露时间的增加,球形 M6C 颗粒的尺寸出现粗化。共晶 M6C-γ 碳化物的演变和 M6C 碳化物的粗化不会对焊接接头的拉伸性能产生不利影响。

摘要: To investigate the corrosion products of Cr in molten FLiNaK salt (46.5 mol% LiF11.5 mol% NaF42 mol% KF), the corrosion test of the pure metal Cr was performed in molten FLiNaK salt at 700 ℃ for 200 h. The FLiNaK salt after the corrosion test was thoroughly investigated by X-ray absorption near-edge structure spectroscopy, a transmission electron microscope, and X-ray diffraction. The results demonstrate that the predominant oxidation state of Cr in FLiNaK salt is Cr3+, and the main corrosion product in cooled FLiNaK salt is K2NaCrF6.

摘要: In this paper, a novel method for selectively detection of dopamine (DA) in the interference of ascorbic acid (AA) is described. A nanometer-sized gold flower microelectrode (NGFME) is prepared by flame-etching and electrochemical deposition. The electrode tip was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The NGFME is sized at about 100 m and dimensions of thorns of the electrode were in nanometers. By modifying with DA aptamer on the surface, the prepared aptasensor can selectively detect DA even in the presence of high concentration AA. Experimental results show that this NGFME has no response to AA. As a comparison, the carbon fiber electrode without DA aptamer modification is unable to effectively detect DA in the presence of AA. The NGFME is easy-to-prepare, selective and sensitive for DA detection down to 25 m. The electrode can be expected to detect DA in vivo and in real biological samples.

摘要: High brightness -rays produced by laser Compton scattering (LCS) are ideal probes for the study of nucleon and nuclear structure. We propose such a -ray source using the backscattering of a laser from the bright electron beam produced by the linac of the Shanghai Soft X-ray Free-electron Laser (SXFEL) test facility at the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics (SINAP). The performance is optimized through theoretical analysis and benchmarked with 4D Monte-Carlo simulations. The peak brightness of the source is expected to be larger than 21022 photons/(mm2 mrad2 s 0.1%BW) and photon energy ranges from 3.7 MeV to 38.9 MeV. Its performance, compared to Extreme Light Infrastructure-Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP), and the Shanghai Laser-Electron Gamma-ray Source (SLEGS), is given. The potential for basic and applied research is also briefly outlined.

摘要: A novel high-frequency and high power density planar insulated core transformer (PICT) applied to high voltage direct current (DC) generator is introduced. PICTs operating principle and fundamental configuration are described, and preliminary experimental results in self-designed PICT apparatus are presented. Emphatically, magnetic leakage flux (MFL) giving rise to the output voltage drop is analyzed in detail both theoretically and by finite element method (FEM). Showing good consistency with experimental result, FEM simulation is considered to be practicable in physical design of PICT. To cancel out leakage inductance and improve the voltage uniformity, compensation capacitor is adopted and experimental verification is also presented. All shows satisfactory results.

摘要: Simulating charged particle motion through the elements is necessary to understand modern particle accelerators. The particle numbers and the circling turns in a synchrotron are huge, and a simulation can be time-consuming. Open multi-processing (OpenMP) is a convenient method to speed up the computing of multi-cores for computers based on share memory model. Using message passing interface (MPI) which is based on non-uniform memory access architecture, a coarse grain parallel algorithm is set up for the Accelerator Toolbox (AT) for dynamic tracking processes. The computing speedup of the tracking process is 3.77 times with a quad-core CPU computer and the speed almost grows linearly with the number of CPU.

摘要: The macromolecular crystallography beamline BL17U1 at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) is the first dedicated macromolecular crystallography (MX) beamline at a third-generation synchrotron in China. It utilizes an in-vacuum undulator as a source and is energy-tunable from 5 to 18 keV. The beamline was commissioned and opened for users in April 2009. The experimental station was upgraded in 2011 with an advanced detector, a high precision goniometer and an automatic sample exchanger for high efficient and high-throughput data collection of protein crystals. The current set-up allows for remote operation of sample mounting, centering and data collection of pre-frozen crystals. In recent two years, the number of PDB depositions from this beamline exceeds 330 each year. In this paper, we describe the complete BL17U1 beamline with upgraded end station and how it is managed for user community.

摘要: In the RCPI (rod control and position indication) system prototype of the TMSR (Thorium Molten Salt Reactor) project, EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) was adopted as instrumentation and control software platform. According to long time running, high availability and safety for the system, RMT (redundancy monitor task) software package for Input/Output Controller (IOC) redundancy was employed, and the driver for redundancy control was realized. Test shows that the system could achieve IOC redundancy switch-over quickly and ensure the IOC running with long-term stability.
