  • Development and application of public and patient health popularization handbooks

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Library Science submitted time 2024-04-19

Abstract: With the deepening of Healthy China, the level of public health literacy has significantly improved, and more and more patients are participating in joint decision-making. The Health Science Popularization Handbook provides the public and patients with the basis for knowing, choosing, and seeking support. It plays an important role in enhancing information balance in the medical process, promoting effective communication between doctors and patients, reducing patient uncertainty, and helping patients to actively respond to medical conditions. However, there is still a lack of guiding opinions on how to develop a Health Science Popularization Handbook in China. After more than three years of exploration, the team has developed a set of procedures and application methods for the development of a public and patient health science popularization handbook, which is widely applicable to health industry practitioners and public and patients who aspire to engage in health science popularization creation, in order to provide reference for the promotion of health science popularization work.

Subjects: Medicine, Pharmacy >> Clinical Medicine submitted time 2022-11-14 Cooperative journals: 《中国全科医学》

Abstract: Background: Outpatient doctors are the main providers of hospital diagnosis and treatment activities, and doctors' emotions are the guarantee of high-quality medical services. The communication method between doctors and patients is particularly important. Objective: From the perspective of doctor's emotional feedback, to compare the effect of outpatient doctor's experiential communication and GLTC communication, to understand the main communication details affecting doctors' emotions, and to provide reference for improving doctors' communication skills and improving doctors' emotional state in the future. Methods: From July 2021 to January 2022, a pilot study of outpatient GLTC communication program was carried out in a total of 24 departments in 4 tertiary general hospitals in Jiangsu Province, and the relevant data were subjected to descriptive analysis, Mann-whitney燯 test, multiple linear regression, etc. analyze. Results: After the outpatient experience communication, the doctor's fatigue mood increased significantly (P<0.05); after the outpatient GLTC communication, there was no significant difference in the doctor's mood before and after the outpatient GLTC communication (P>0.05); After the communication, the doctor's emotional fatigue and confusion scores in the experience group were higher than GLTC In unit time, the completion rate of relevant communication details in the GLTC group was significantly higher than that in the experience group (P<0.05). Conclusion: GLTC communication in outpatient clinics can better relieve doctor fatigue. Doctors' smiles and friendly attitudes are the communication details that young and middle-aged doctors in outpatient clinics need to pay attention to in the future. At the same time, the completion rate of these details needs to be improved.

  • Advances in studies on multi-omics-based biomarkers of frailty in the elderly

Subjects: Medicine, Pharmacy >> Clinical Medicine submitted time 2022-10-28 Cooperative journals: 《中国全科医学》

Abstract: Early diagnosis of frailty is of great value in helping elderly to regain their health, as it is a non-specific state of reduced physiological reserve, reduced resistance to shock and reduced ability to recover from stress. In recent years, technological advances in histological research have provided new avenues for the discovery of potentially specific, stable and reliable appropriate biomarkers of pre-frailty. After gathering and analyzing relevant studies, this paper reviews advances in research on biomarkers of pre-frailty in blood samples from the perspective of epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics, which can assist in assessing the risk of frailty, exploring potential mechanisms of frailty and developing targeted interventions to support healthy aging.

  • Research progress on cost-effectiveness of atrial fibrillation screening

Subjects: Medicine, Pharmacy >> Clinical Medicine submitted time 2022-10-13 Cooperative journals: 《中国全科医学》

Abstract: Atrial fibrillation is one of the most common arrhythmias in clinical practice. The onset of asymptomatic atrial fibrillation is insidious and the awareness rate is low, which can easily lead to adverse outcomes and bring a serious burden. Disease screening should precede the prevention of complications, and the screening and scientific management of asymptomatic atrial fibrillation are crucial. This article systematically reviews the screening of atrial fibrillation in recent management guidelines, and from the perspective of health economics, analyzes the impact of different screening populations, screening equipment, and monitoring time on the cost-effectiveness of atrial fibrillation screening strategies. At the same time, the role of screening participation rate and anticoagulation treatment compliance on economy was also clarified, in order to guide clinical practice.
