  • Applying explicit symplectic integrator to study chaos of charged particles around magnetized Kerr black hole

    摘要: In a recent work of Wu, Wang, Sun and Liu, a second-order explicit symplectic integrator was proposed for the integrable Kerr spacetime geometry. It is still suited for simulating the nonintegrable dynamics of charged particles moving around the Kerr black hole embedded in an external magnetic field. Its successful construction is due to the contribution of a time transformation. The algorithm exhibits a good long-term numerical performance in stable Hamiltonian errors and computational efficiency. As its application, the dynamics of order and chaos of charged particles is surveyed. In some circumstances, an increase of the dragging effects of the spacetime seems to weaken the extent of chaos from the global phase-space structure on Poincare sections. However, an increase of the magnetic parameter strengthens the chaotic properties. On the other hand, fast Lyapunov indicators show that there is no universal rule for the dependence of the transition between different dynamical regimes on the black hole spin. The dragging effects of the spacetime do not always weaken the extent of chaos from a local point of view.

  • Possible Generation Mechanism for Compressional Alfv\'enic Spikes as Observed by Parker Solar Probe

    摘要: The solar wind is found by Parker Solar Probe (PSP) to be abundant with Alfv\'enic velocity spikes and magnetic field kinks. Temperature enhancement is another remarkable feature associated with the Alfv\'enic spikes. How the prototype of these coincident phenomena is generated intermittently in the source region becomes a hot topic of wide concerns. Here we propose a new model introducing guide-field discontinuity into the interchange magnetic reconnection between open funnels and closed loops with different magnetic helicities. The modified interchange reconnection model not only can accelerate jet flows from the newly opening closed loop but also excite and launch Alfv\'enic wave pulses along the newly-reconnected and post-reconnected open flux tubes. We find that the modeling results can reproduce the following observational features: (1) Alfv\'en disturbance is pulsive in time and asymmetric in space; (2) Alfv\'enic pulse is compressible with temperature enhancement and density variation inside the pulse. We point out that three physical processes co-happening with Alfv\'en wave propagation can be responsible for the temperature enhancement: (a) convection of heated jet flow plasmas (decrease in density), (b) propagation of compressed slow-mode waves (increase in density), and (c) conduction of heat flux (weak change in density). We also suggest that the radial nonlinear evolution of the Alfv\'enic pulses should be taken into account to explain the formation of magnetic switchback geometry.

  • Construction of explicit symplectic integrators in general relativity. III. Reissner-Nordstrom-(anti)-de Sitter black holes

    摘要: We give a possible splitting method to a Hamiltonian for the description of charged particles moving around the Reissner-Nordstrom-(anti)-de Sitter black hole with an external magnetic field. This Hamiltonian can be separated into six analytical solvable pieces, whose solutions are explicit functions of proper time. In this case, second- and fourth-order explicit symplectic integrators are easily available. They exhibit excellent long-term behavior in maintaining the boundness of Hamiltonian errors regardless of ordered or chaotic orbits if appropriate step-sizes are chosen. Under some circumstances, an increase of positive cosmological constant gives rise to strengthening the extent of chaos from the global phase space; namely, chaos of charged particles occurs easily for the accelerated expansion of the universe. However, an increase of the magnitude of negative cosmological constant does not. The different contributions on chaos are because the cosmological constant acts as a repulsive force in the Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter black hole, but an attractive force in the Reissner-Nordstrom-anti-de Sitter black hole.

  • Growth of Outward Propagating Fast-Magnetosonic/Whistler Waves in the Inner Heliosphere Observed by Parker Solar Probe

    摘要: The solar wind in the inner heliosphere has been observed by Parker Solar Probe (PSP) to exhibit abundant wave activities. The cyclotron wave modes in the sense of ions or electrons are among the most crucial wave components. However, their origin and evolution in the inner heliosphere close to the Sun remain mysteries. Specifically, it remains unknown whether it is an emitted signal from the solar atmosphere or an eigenmode growing locally in the heliosphere due to plasma instability. To address and resolve this controversy, we must investigate the key quantity of the energy change rate of the wave mode. We develop a new technique to measure the energy change rate of plasma waves, and apply this technique to the wave electromagnetic fields measured by PSP. We provide the wave Poynting flux in the solar wind frame, identify the wave nature to be the outward propagating fast-magnetosonic/whistler wave mode instead of the sunward propagating waves. We provide the first evidence for growth of the fast-magnetosonic/whistler wave mode in the inner heliosphere based on the derived spectra of the real and imaginary parts of the wave frequencies. The energy change rate rises and stays at a positive level in the same wavenumber range as the bumps of the electromagnetic field power spectral densities, clearly manifesting that the observed fast-magnetosonic/whistler waves are locally growing to a large amplitude.

  • Construction of explicit symplectic integrators in general relativity. IV. Kerr black holes

    摘要: In previous papers, explicit symplectic integrators were designed for nonrotating black holes, such as a Schwarzschild black hole. However, they fail to work in the Kerr spacetime because not all variables can be separable, or not all splitting parts have analytical solutions as explicit functions of proper time. To cope with this difficulty, we introduce a time transformation function to the Hamiltonian of Kerr geometry so as to obtain a time-transformed Hamiltonian consisting of five splitting parts, whose analytical solutions are explicit functions of the new coordinate time. The chosen time transformation function can cause time steps to be adaptive, but it is mainly used to implement the desired splitting of the time transformed Hamiltonian. In this manner, new explicit symplectic algorithms are easily available. Unlike Runge Kutta integrators, the newly proposed algorithms exhibit good long term behavior in the conservation of Hamiltonian quantities when appropriate fixed coordinate time steps are considered. They are better than same order implicit and explicit mixed symplectic algorithms and extended phase space explicit symplectic like methods in computational efficiency. The proposed idea on the construction of explicit symplectic integrators is suitable for not only the Kerr metric but also many other relativistic problems, such as a Kerr black hole immersed in a magnetic field, a Kerr Newman black hole with an external magnetic field, axially symmetric core shell systems, and five dimensional black ring metrics.

  • Extended Reality Boosts the Development of Tourism: the Relationship between Tourist Experience, Perceived Value and Behavior Intention in Red Tourism

    摘要: The advent of extended reality (XR) in red tourism is revamping tourist experience. Compare to tour guide service in other-directed travel, the influence of XR technology in self-directed travel on perceived value and behavior intention needs further research. This paper constructs a conceptual model based on the relationship between tourist experience, perceived value and behavior intention. Basic data in the memorial hall in a memorial park dedicated to the Battle of the Xiangjiang River during the Long March were obtained through questionnaire survey. After collecting the data, this paper uses structural equation model to verify the hypotheses. As a result of this analysis, the present study offers the following conclusions: First, self-directed tourist experience has positive influence on knowledge value and experience value. Second,other-directed tourist experience has positive influence on knowledge value and sentimental value. Third, experience value, self-directed tourist experience and other-directed tourist experience has positive influence on behavior intention.

  • Associated Production of Higgs Boson and $t\bar t$ at LHC

    摘要: One of the future goals of the LHC is to precisely measure the properties of Higgs boson. The associated production of Higgs boson and the top quark pair is a promising process to investigate the related Yukawa interaction and the properties of Higgs. Compared with the pure scalar sector in the Standard Model, the Higgs sector contains both scalar and pseudoscalar in many new physics models, which makes the t ̄tH interaction more complex and provides a variety of phenomena. To investigate thet ̄tH interaction and the properties of Higgs, we study the top quark spin correlation observables at the LHC.
