Abstract: With the development of the times, school libraries play an increasingly significant role in the process of basic education. As a branch association of the American Library Association, the American Association of School librarians is the only national trade association dedicated to serving school librarians and the school library community in the United States. The American Association of School Librarians has carried out a series of activities which have made significant contributions to promoting the development of American school libraries, improving social influence as well as providing a certain reference for school libraries in China.
