Abstract: This paper designs a non-contact intelligent health monitoring home system with millimeter wave radar module as the core sensing unit and STM32F407 microcontroller as the main control core. The system integrates photosensitive sensing, inertial measurement unit (IMU) and wireless communication technology, and builds an integrated solution of non-inductive health monitoring and smart home control. The system realizes continuous non-contact monitoring of respiratory and heart rate vital signs through millimeter wave radar, realizes high-precision fall recognition combined with multi-modal judgment logic of radar and IMU, and realizes energy-saving lighting control of "lights on when people come, lights dim when people leave" by integrating human positioning and photosensitive sensing. When abnormal vital signs or fall events are detected, it can link intelligent devices to complete environmental intervention, and push alarm information to preset contacts through the cloud. The system adopts edge computing design, and part of data processing and intelligent judgment are completed at the edge end, which effectively reduces transmission delay and improves data privacy. The actual test shows that within the detection range of 0.5~5m, the detection accuracy of respiratory rate is ±1 times/min, the detection accuracy of heart rate is ±2 times/min, and the accuracy of fall recognition is ≥98%. All functions are stably realized, providing a privacy-friendly and high-reliability intelligent solution for home elderly care and special population monitoring.
