摘要: An X-ray diode (XRD) diagnostic system based on electron pulse time-dilation and energy compensation has been presented. A temporal magnifier is used for dilating the temporal width of electron pulse to significantly improve the temporal resolution. An energy compensation is performed using a time collimator to ensure a measurement accuracy. And a time-resolved anode electron detector is applied to detect the processed electron pulse.Theoretical studies indicate that time-dilation technology can increase the temporal resolution of XRD from 125 ps to 5 ps. Experimental verification was also carried out using the Michelson interferometer method, and a temporal resolution of 9.1 ps for the XRD was measured.
