  • Robot Supervisor: Non-invasive Algorithm Fairness Proof Mechanism

    Abstract: In the online ride-hailing platform, the order dispatch algorithm serves as the infrastructure for providing services to match drivers and passengers, which directly affects the rights and travel experience of drivers and passengers. How to test and ensure the fairness of the order dispatch algorithm is critical to the orderly operation of the online ride-hailing platform and protecting the rights and interests of both drivers and passengers. This paper proposes a non-intrusive fairness test method for online ride-hailing order dispatch algorithms. There is no need to go into the details of the algorithm. Only the scene information and the dispatch results are needed to conduct the algorithm fairness test. This method greatly reduces the calculation cost and can protect corporate confidentiality and user privacy. It first characterizes algorithm fairness through statistical modeling of randomness. Then it uses hypothesis testing methods to verify algorithm fairness, and finally uses zero-knowledge proof technology to build contactless trust. In the study, Didi Chuxing data was used to verify the fairness of the algorithm based on pick-up distance. The experiment verified the feasibility and effectiveness of this method, and demonstrated the potential of this framework for larger-scale and more complete algorithm fairness testing.

  • The connotation, goals and countermeasures of digital information literacy education in colleges and universities

    Abstract: [Purpose / significance]Digital information literacy education in colleges and universities needs to be strengthened. On the basis of drawing on existing education strategies at home and abroad, taking the connotation of digital information literacy education in colleges and universities as the starting point, scientific and reasonable goals are set and corresponding countermeasures are proposed, in order to provide reference for digital information literacy education in Chinese colleges and universities.[Method / process]Through the systematic combing of the practice of digital information literacy education carried out by university libraries, the main problems existing in digital information literacy education in colleges and universities are analyzed, goals are set, and countermeasures for the quality development of digital information literacy education for college students in the new era are proposed.[Result / conclusion]We should attach great importance to and support digital information literacy education in Chinese colleges and universities, take university libraries as the main educational position, enrich the content of digital information literacy courses and education and teaching methods, and jointly cooperate with the government and society to form a multi-department collaborative education model, so as to promote students' improvement of digital information literacy in the practice of college career.

  • Research on the Historical Evolution and Age Value of Nationwide Reading

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] It aims to explore the historical background of the origin of reading for all, combing its evolution process, in order to fully understand and grasp the spread and practice of reading for all in China, and then influence and promote the construction and development of China's learning society and the cultural power in China.[Method/process] Through the research on the historical evolution of national reading and its development response abroad, the three aspects of "system engineering" "legal guarantee" and "strategic layout" presented by national reading in our country's actual practice were summarized, to explore and explain the value of the times of universal reading.[Result/conclusion] The analysis and grasp of the value of the nationwide reading era is of great significance for guiding the development of nationwide reading activities and the in-depth reading promotion activities.

  • Benefit and Risk of Utilizing Antimicrobials in Animal Husbandry Development

    Abstract: For decades, antimicrobials have played a key role in helping and protecting the sound development of animal husbandry. Undoubtedly, for intensive farming, antibiotics will still be one of the essential strategies for preventing and treating the bacterial infectious disease in a very long time. Nevertheless, due to the widely use of antimicrobials, the resistant bacteria and antimicrobial resistance have emerged, which become a severe challenge threatening the whole public for returning to the “pre-antibiotic era”. For comprehensively understanding of this issue, here this study focuses on the pros and cons of using antibiotics in livestock, global experience in balancing the use of drugs and the control of antimicrobial resistance, and the advices and strategies are raised specifically for China.

  • 瞳孔变化在记忆加工中的生物标记作用

    Abstract: Pupils were found to exhibit consistent changing patterns in the same processing stage of different memory tasks, and the changes in pupil size reflect the activation state of the nervous system during information processing. During the pre-coding phase before the stimulus is presented, pupils contract as the individual's endogenous attention level increases. In the information encoding stage, the degree of pupil dilation is used as a bio-marker of the subsequent memory effect, which can predict the memory performance of the future information retrieval stage. In the retrieval phase, when the free recall task is used, pupils contract rapidly with the release of memory load, but the report of each item will cause a small pupil dilation; In the recognition task, pupil dilation is more pronounced when old stimulus is presented than that with new stimulus, producing pupil old/ new effect. Pupil size is a sensitive and stable bio-marker in memory processing. Pupil tracking measurement is an effective approach to explore the physiological mechanism of memory processing. In the future research, pupil tracking along with multiple research methods should be used to further explore the physiological mechanism of memory.

  • Research on the Users’Perception of University Libraries Image in China Based on Comments from Dianping.com

    Abstract: Purpose/Significance With the far-reaching influence of the tide of science and technology on library career, "transformation and reform" has become a major proposition in the library field. What does the current university library look like in the eyes of users? It is of great significance to explore the users’ perception of university library image for improving the image of university library and promoting its overall development. Method/Process In view of the lack of user perception research on the image of college libraries in China with user review data from third-party review websites, based on comments on libraries of universities included in the “double first-class” construction collected from the public comment network,this paper analyses the overall image,cognitive image and emotional tendency perception of university libraries by using TF-IDF keyword extraction, LDA topic clustering algorithm and ROST CM6.0. Result/Conclusion The results show that the users mainly hold a positive attitude towards the image of university libraries, though they have different emphasis on the image perception of different components. Finally, this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the image of university libraries.

  • 绒山羊羔羊和成年羊前体脂肪细胞的原代培养及传代方法

    Abstract:本试验主要探索绒山羊羔羊和成年羊前体脂肪细胞的培养及传代方法,为研究绒山羊的脂肪代谢机理提供细胞模型。以3月龄阿尔巴斯白绒山羊羔羊肾周脂肪组织为试验材料,采用胶原酶法直接得到羔羊前体脂肪细胞,结合其细胞形态观察、生长曲线和油红O染色进行鉴定;以绒山羊成年羊肾周脂肪组织为试验材料,采用胶原酶法和“天花板”法得到成熟脂肪细胞后,通过去分化得到前体脂肪细胞,诱导分化后利用油红O染色鉴定其向成熟脂肪细胞分化的情况。绒山羊羔羊肾周脂肪组织中前体脂肪细胞的适宜分离条件为0.1% Ⅰ型胶原酶、37 ℃消化1 h,250g离心10 min;传代时分离细胞采用0.25%胰蛋白酶消化60 s。细胞形态为梭形,生长曲线呈“S”型,油红O染色结果呈阳性。成年羊采用和羔羊相同的胶原酶法获得成熟脂肪细胞后,通过改进的“天花板”法获得前体脂肪细胞,经诱导分化后,油红O染色结果呈阳性。综上,采用I型胶原酶消化法可直接分离培养3月龄绒山羊羔羊的前体脂肪细胞;采用胶原酶法和改进后的“天花板”法分离培养成年绒山羊的前体脂肪细胞是可行的。

  • 色素上皮衍生因子通过调控上皮间质转化抑制乳腺癌细胞侵袭和转移

    Abstract: Objective To investigate whether pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF) inhibits invasion and metastasis of breast cancer through regulation of epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Methods The expressions of PEDF, vimentin, and E-cadherin were detected in 119 breast cancer tissues using immunohistochemistry. SK-BR-3 breast cancer cell models of PEDF knockdown and PEDF overexpression were established by transfecting the cells with a PEDF-siRNA vector and a lentivirus-PEDF vector, respectively. Western blotting was used to detect the changes in the expressions of PEDF, vimentin, and E-cadherin in the cells, and the cell invasion and migration ability was assessed using scratch wound healing assay and transwell migration assay. Results PEDF positivity rate was significantly lowered in breast cancer tissues compared with the adjacent tissues. PEDF was positively correlated with the tumor size and the expression level of E-cadherin (r=0.473, P<0.001), but was negatively correlated with vimentin expression (r=-0.412, P<0.001). Transwell invasion experiment showed that PEDF interference enhanced the cell invasion and metastasis, while PEDF overexpression inhibited the invasion and migration of SKBR-3 cells. Western blotting showed that PEDF knockdown significantly decreased the expression of E-cadherin (P<0.05) and increased vimentin expression in the cells (P<0.05). Conclusion PEDF is closely related with the metastasis of breast cancer cells through regulation of epithelial-mesenchymal transition.

  • FoxO1在胰岛β细胞代谢灵活性受损及失代偿进程中的作用

    Abstract:众所周知,葡萄糖及脂肪酸是胰岛β细胞的关键代谢底物,葡萄糖刺激胰岛β细胞分泌胰岛素是维持机体血糖稳态平衡的关键。胰岛素抵抗发生时,β细胞对能量代谢底物的选择失调,加速胰岛β细胞由代偿到胰岛β细胞失代偿的进程,是肥胖胰岛素抵抗最终发展为2型糖尿病的始动因素。核转录因子FoxO1属于Fox家族成员,在胰腺内广泛表达,在β细胞的代谢,发育,增殖过程中发挥着重要的调节作用。鉴于FoxO1在维持胰岛β细胞功能中的关键作用,现着重对FoxO1在胰岛β细胞代谢灵活性受损及失代偿过程发生中的作用调节进行阐述。为其作为调控胰岛β细胞功能的关键靶点提供参考。
